Omega Engineering wants to be the last word in instruments. The company manufactures a line of more than 100,000 products used to measure temperature and humidity, flow and level, and pressure. Products include thermocouple probes and assemblies, pressure gauges and switches, and air velocity measurement systems. Omega also makes data loggers and recorders, as well as electric heaters. With working engineers making up much of its customer base, the company includes a link to Dilbert products on its Web portal. Omega counts among its customers such companies as Celgene Corporation and 3M, as well as universities and other institutions. The company was founded in 1962 and is owned by CEO Betty Ruth Hollander.
