It services hundreds of independent record labels by getting their CDs, tapes, and vinyl records into retail outlets throughout the country. In addition to its distribution business, Caroline operates its own record label, which has supported such bands as Bad Brains, Ben Folds Five, and Pussy Galore, as well as dance tracks label Astralwerks.
