Hoping to put its name on the map in more ways than one, Tillamook County Creamery Association has a developed a reputation for making cheese. The cooperative, also known as Tillamook Cheese, manufactures dairy products including butter, ice cream, sour cream, and yogurt, but most of its production is devoted to cheddar cheese. It does, however, make other cheeses, including colby, jack, mozarella, and Swiss. Tillamook cheese products are available thoughout the US. The co-op is owned by some 130 dairy farmers in and around Tillamook County, Oregon.
