Before you "get your motor running" and "head out on the highway" you have to get your motor started, which is where Johnson Controls Power Solutions comes in. The company, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is one of the largest automotive battery makers in the US. Its batteries are sold at retailers such as AutoZone, Pep Boys, and Wal-Mart. Johnson Controls Power Solutions is also Tier One supplier to automotive OEMs including Ford, Honda, and Toyota. In addition to providing the juice for automobiles, Johnson Controls Power Solutions also makes batteries for generators, tractors, emergency vehicles, pleasure boats, and RVs. Sales are about evenly split between the Americas and Europe.
