Ala Carte Entertainment (ACE) operates some 25 nightspots in the Chicago area, including such popular night clubs as The Apartment, Deja Vu, and Excalibur. It also has several pub establishments, including The Celtic Crown and The Full Shilling. ACE's portfolio of restaurants includes Chandler's Chophouse and Moretti's Ristorante and Pizzeria. The company also provides catering services through its restaurants. Owner and company president Fred Hoffman started his dining and entertainment empire in the early 1970s when he opened the Snuggery singles bar.
