You could say that Goodyear Dunlop Tires North America knows its way around the tire industry. The company, a part of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, makes tires bearing the Dunlop brand name. Other product offerings include tires for all terrain vehicles (ATVs), commercial trucks, competition go-carts (karts), and motorcycles. As legend has it, the late John Boyd Dunlop patented his design for the modern tire after watching his son ride a tricycle with solid rubber wheels. The Dunlop brand is a sponsor for many racing and other high-performance automotive events.
