Through its Logan Aluminum unit, ARCO Aluminum manufactures aluminum sheet used mainly by the beverage and automotive industries. Logan Aluminum's offerings include automotive sheet, building products, distributor sheet, food and beverage can stock, and rigid container sheet. Logan's mill in Kentucky is one of the largest aluminum sheet manufacturing facilities in North America. Logan Aluminum is a joint venture of ARCO Aluminum and Novelis. ARCO Aluminum is owned by oil giant BP, which acquired the company as part of its purchase of Atlantic Richfield Company (known as ARCO) in 2000.
