The Gulf Insurance Company and its affiliates want to bridge the gulf between risk and coverage for their customers. Collectively known as the Gulf Insurance Group, the companies offer several types of commercial insurance coverage, including professional liability insurance and specialty casualty insurance for a variety of manufacturing and contracting functions. The Gulf Insurance Group, which includes Gulf Underwriters Insurance, Select Insurance, and Atlantic Insurance companies, is owned by Minnesota-based The St. Paul Travelers Companies and held through its Commercial Insurance Resources subsidiary.
