NEC Display Solutions of America manufactures liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors for desktop computers. The company also offers larger LCD and plasma models designed for digital signage and other professional applications. NEC Display Solutions serves both consumer and business customers, providing products used for such diverse applications as airport information displays, medical equipment, merchandising displays, and restaurant menus. The company added professional grade plasmas and projectors to its product line when it merged with NEC's Visual Systems Division in 2007.
