Even if their offspring are fanatical about Finding Nemo, parents of sick children may prefer finding Nemours. The Nemours Foundation operates the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Delaware and dozens of pediatric clinics in Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania that treat acutely and chronically ill children. Nemours provides specialty pediatric services including orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, and oncology, and it has extensive research programs. It also operates a health clinic in Delaware that provides services to low-income elderly residents of the state. The foundation was created in 1936 through the will of chemicals pioneer Alfred I. duPont.
