Somehow all those Amway products have to get from factories to salespeople. That's where Access Business Group comes in. The company manages supply chains for Amway and online retailer, Quixtar. (Amway, Quixtar, and Access Business Group are units of Alticor.) Access Business Group operates more than half a dozen distribution centers with an overall capacity of more than 1.7 million sq. ft. In addition to distribution, the company provides contract manufacturing of cosmetics, nutritional supplements, and personal care products for its affiliates and other clients; it also offers printing and packaging services. More than 500 scientists and engineers work in the company's research and development labs worldwide.
