Galderma Laboratories can't soothe all of the irritations of the world, but it can help with itchy, spotty, and sensitive skin. The company is the North American operation of Swiss firm Galderma, a joint venture between L'Oréal and Nestlé founded in 1981. The company focuses exclusively on developing over-the-counter and prescription dermatology products. In addition to such consumer brands as sensitive skin cleanser Cetaphil, the company offers treatments for skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis (eczema), psoriasis, and melasma. Galderma Laboratories operates a research and development facility in New Jersey and a manufacturing facility in Montreal.
