Spectrum Laboratory Network provides clinical laboratory services to health care providers in more than half a dozen states in the eastern US. Formed as a joint venture between High Point Regional Health System and Moses Cone Health System, the company also provides routine and esoteric laboratory testing services to Wellmont Health System, as well as other doctors, home health agencies, clinics, and hospitals in the region. Spectrum provides online ordering and result retrieval services, and it provides courier services for blood and urine sample collection. Investment firm Apax Partners owns a majority stake in Spectrum Laboratory Network, which was established in 1998.
