Columbia Gas of Ohio takes pride in the fact that it can deliver gas first class, en masse, without impasse to the working class, the middle class, and the upper class. The utility is the largest natural gas utility in the state, serving 1.4 million customers (including 1.3 million residential, 112,000 commercial, and 2,600 industrial customers in more than 1,030 communities in 60 out of 88 Ohio counties. The NiSource subsidiary offers a customer choice program, which allows customers to choose their energy suppliers while Columbia Gas of Ohio continues to deliver the gas.
