With a reach that extends far beyond the original English colonies, Colonial Pipeline delivers about 100 million gallons of gasoline, diesel, home heating oil, aviation, and military fuels per day to cities and businesses across the eastern and southern US. The 5,520-mile Colonial system transports these fuels from Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas to 267 marketing terminals near major population centers in the Southeast and along the Eastern Seaboard. The company has shipper terminals in 12 states and the District of Columbia. Colonial Pipeline is owned by a consortium of companies, including Koch (28%), HUTTS (23%), Shell Pipeline (16%), and Industry Funds Management (16%).
