Its offerings include surveillance and radar systems, ruggedized computers, weapons targeting systems, flight recorders, communications systems, thermal imaging systems, air combat training systems, and video recorders for defense and aerospace applications. DRS has grown though several strategic acquisitions made throughout the decade. It relies on US government agencies (primarily the DoD) for over 90% of sales. In 2008 Finmeccanica bought DRS for $5.2 billion.
