Independent oil marketer Crown Central's crown doesn't shine as bright as it used to, but it still shines. The company offers fleet fueling services and maintains branding ownership of some 75 "Crown" retail stations and stores operated by independent distributors and dealers in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. In 2004 and 2005 Crown Central sold its two refineries in Texas and most of its 300 gas stations.
