After its chief executive was sent to prison, Tyco International was all broken up. The company has disassociated itself from the free-spending ways of former CEO Dennis Kozlowski, who is serving jail time for taking millions of dollars from the company. In mid-2007 Tyco split into three publicly held companies: Tyco International; Covidien (formerly Tyco Healthcare Group); and Tyco Electronics. Tyco International is made up of five divisions: Fire Protection Services (fire detection and suppression systems); Electrical and Metal Products (steel tubing, pipes, and cables for commercial construction); ADT Worldwide (security systems), Safety Products (protective equipment), and Flow Control (valves).
