After its chief executive was sent to prison, Tyco International was all broken up. The company has disassociated itself from the free-spending ways of former CEO Dennis Kozlowski, who is serving jail time for taking millions of dollars from the company. In mid-2007 Tyco split into three publicly held companies: Tyco International, Covidien (formerly Tyco Healthcare Group), and Tyco Electronics. Tyco International is made up of five divisions: Fire Protection Services (fire detection and suppression systems), Electrical and Metal Products (steel tubing, pipes, and cables for commercial construction), ADT Worldwide (security systems), Safety Products (protective equipment), and Flow Control (valves).
