Syntegra (USA), the official name of BT's Consulting & Systems Integration business in the US, helps its clients work without glitches. The company's consultants offer analysis and implementation in the areas of information and IT infrastructure management, messaging, mobility, network security and services, and provisioning. Formerly known as Control Data Systems, the company shed its mainframe roots and evolved into a systems integrator and electronic business facilitator when it was acquired by BT Group in 1999, after which it became a division of Syntegra Limited (now called BT Consulting & Systems Integration). Customers include Caterpillar, Goldman Sachs, FedEx, and Kaiser Permanente.
