Adventist HealthCare serves metro Washington, DC, and parts of northwestern New Jersey, through a network that includes three acute care hospitals (Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Washington Adventist Hospital, and Hackettstown Regional Medical Center); two inpatient rehabilitation facilities (operating as the Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland); and the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health System, which provides inpatient and outpatient mental health services. Combined, the facilities have more than 850 acute care, rehab, and behavioral health beds. A not-for-profit health system affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church, the organization also runs several home health agencies and nursing homes.
