Abington Memorial Hospital brings health care to residents of southeastern Pennsylvania. Serving Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties, the not-for-profit community hospital has some 570 beds. In addition to general medical and surgical care, Abington Memorial Hospital offers specialized care centers for cancer and cardiovascular conditions, operates high-tech orthopedic and neurological surgery units, and serves as a regional trauma care facility. It also runs an inpatient pediatric unit in affiliation with The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Along with its main hospital facility, Abington Memorial also operates the neighboring 125-bed Lansdale Hospital and several area outpatient facilities.
