It's A Grind Coffee operates and franchises more than 100 coffee houses in California and about a dozen other states. The chain serves a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and baked goods -- it even has a decaf kid's menu. In addition to food and beverages, the outlets sell whole-bean coffee and related items. Company president Marty Cox opened the first location with his wife Louise Montgomery in 1994.
