Penthouse International is rather partial about the porn it owns. The adult entertainment company owns nearly all of General Media, the publisher of "PENTHOUSE" magazine. General Media also publishes four other titles affiliated with its flagship magazine, including "Forum", "Variations", and "PENTHOUSE Letters". In addition, it sells subscription access to explicit material on the Internet and produces adult videos and DVDs. "PENTHOUSE" founder and publisher Bob Guccione owns 85% of Penthouse International, which was formerly known as American Pulp Exchange. General Media has filed Chapter 11. The company plans to emerge from bankruptcy protection under the ownership of PET Capital Partners.
