Biaggi's offers authentic Italian food for Champaign, Illinois, and other authentic American cities. Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano owns and operates about 20 of its namesake dining places in a dozen mostly Midwestern states. The casual dining restaurants offer a variety of dishes for lunch and dinner, including pastas and pizza, as well as beef, chicken, and seafood prepared in the tradition of rustic Italian cuisine. CEO Todd Hovenden, a former executive with the Taco Bell chain, started the company in 1998 with president John McDonnell (a co-founder of That's Amore Restaurants).
