Biaggi's offers authentic Italian food for Champaign, Illinois, and other authentic American cities. Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano owns and operates about 20 of its namesake dining places in a dozen mostly Midwestern states. The casual dining restaurants offer a variety of dishes for lunch and dinner, including pastas and pizza, as well as beef, chicken, and seafood prepared in the tradition of rustic Italian cuisine. Biaggi's prides itself on the table service provided by its well-trained staff. CEO Todd Hovenden, a former executive with the Taco Bell chain, started the company in 1998 with president John McDonnell (a co-founder of That's Amore Restaurants).
