Antrim Energy's logo is the distinctive rock formation of the Giant's Causeway on the coast of County Antrim in Northern Ireland. The up-and-coming independent oil and gas exploration company is hoping to take giant steps by turning its high-impact exploration prospects in Argentina and the UK into a commercial success. The company has assets in the Tierra del Fuego region of Argentina, as well as oil and gas interests in the UK sector of the North Sea. Antrim Energy partners with UK-based Dana Petroleum and other explorers in developing its drilling prospects. In 2008 the company reported proved reserves of 36.1 million barrels of oil equivalent.
