From developing Baltimore's Charles Center to rebuilding the Pentagon, RTKL Associates has been a participant in several leading architecture and engineering projects worldwide. Ranked among the top providers of architecture and engineering services to the public sector, RTKL offers planning and urban design, interior architecture, historic preservation, structural engineering, and mechanical and electrical engineering. Other services include graphic design, landscape design, and information technology planning. RTKL was founded in 1946 by Arch Rogers; later partners Francis Taliaferro, George Kostritsky, and Charles Lamb rounded out the firm's acronym name. ARCADIS acquired RTKL Associates in 2007.
