Like a signal in the night, Beacon Pictures guides its films through the rough waters of Hollywood to the safety of your local multiplex. Movie producer Armyan Bernstein -- who has made films such as "Bring It On, The Hurricane," and "Air Force One" -- founded the company as Beacon Communications in 1990 with longtime business partner Charlie Lyons. The independent movie and TV production and distribution firm also includes a film library that contains more than 20 titles, including Family Man and Spy Game. Recent activities include straight-to-DVD sequeals of the Bring it On cheerleading franchise (Bring It On: Fight to the Finish), as well as a stage version of the original film: Bring It On: The Musical.
