There's nothing analog about this division of Sony Pictures Entertainment. Sony Digital Production (formerly Sony Pictures Digital) is responsible for the studio's digital content creation, and includes subsidiaries Sony Pictures Imageworks and Sony Pictures Animation. Imageworks produces Academy Award-winning movie visual effects, while Sony Pictures Animation is active in CGI feature film production. The first two titles for Sony Pictures Animation were Open Season (2006) and the Academy Award-nominated Surf's Up! (2007). The studio also has a deal to produce animated films for Aardman Animation.
