Aquascape tells gardeners to just say no to chemical-dependent ponds. The company distributes natural-ecosystem water garden and pond supplies and equipment, including its own Nursery Pro line, to retailers and distributors. Products include installation tools, liners and underlayment, mechanical and biological filters, natural algae control, plumbing, pond kits, and pumps. About 70% of sales come from contractors. The firm's EPDM rubber lining for the base of a pond is less likely to crack than concrete. Aquascape also sponsors Ponds for Kids, a program that puts students together with contractors to build pond ecosystems. CEO and owner Greg Wittstock founded the company in 1991.
