This studio hopes its media projects will have universal appeal. Universal Media Studios is the TV production arm of media conglomerate NBC Universal. The unit primarily produces drama and comedy series for its flagship NBC network, such as The Office and 30 Rock, as well as programs for other networks (FOX's House). Its "Law & Order" program, co-produced with series creator Dick Wolf, is the longest running drama series on primetime, and has spawned two successful spin-offs. Universal Media also produces such late night programs as The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live.
