OQO believes computer users can have their cake and eat it, too. The company has developed a handheld computer with the functionality of a full-size PC. Powered by processors from Via, its devices run Microsoft's Windows XP and Vista operating systems and feature LCD touch screens. OQO's model 02 computer targets customers in field service, government and public safety, health care, insurance, manufacturing, and sales, among other applications. OQO's computers can also be connected to a cradle and docked to a keyboard or monitor. Apple veteran and OQO CEO Jory Bell, CTO Jonathan Betts-Lacroix, and members of the team that developed Apple's Titanium notebook founded OQO in 2000.
