Entrepreneur Media has some reading material for the self-employed. Targeting small-business owners and those thinking about taking the leap, Entrepreneur Media publishes "Entrepreneur" magazine, a monthly publication with a paid circulation of more than 600,000. The company also operates the corresponding Web site, Entrepreneur.com. In addition, Entrepreneur Media publishes books (titles such as Start Your Own Business and Master of Success) through its Entrepreneur Press unit. Chase Revel launched the company with a newsletter in 1973 and began magazine publishing in 1977. CEO Peter Shea has owned Entrepreneur Media since 1986.
