Sons of third generation farmers, God fearin', hard workin' combine drivers know Amerequip. The Wisconsin-based company has been designing and manufacturing heavy-duty attachments for utility tractors, skid/steer loaders, tractors, and lawn and garden equipment since 1920. It jointly develops and markets its lineup through commercial and consumer OEMs including Deere & Company and Great Bend., in addition to serving distributors and end-users. The design-and-build business tailors equipment from medium duty backhoes for compact utility tractors to self-propelled golf course mowers. In 2009 Michael Festge stepped up as chairman and CEO. Hit with tumbling orders, Amerequip has laid off over 15% of its workforce.
