Alpine Air Express flies the western skies to cart cargo for its customers. The air cargo company provides scheduled transportation of mail, packages, and other time-sensitive freight to more than 25 cities in the western half of the US mainland and in Hawaii. Its primary customers, the United States Postal Service and United Parcel Service, together account for more than 85% of sales. Alpine Air operates a fleet of about 25 Beechcraft turboprop planes from bases in Hawaii, Montana, and Utah. Along with its cargo operations, the company provides pilot training and aircraft maintenance services. CEO Eugene Mallette owns a controlling stake in Alpine Air.
