Segafredo Zanetti knows what the Dutch want from a cup of coffee. And Austrians. And Italians. As a leading espresso bar supplier, the company custom blends its coffees to suit its markets. To better control each cup, Segafredo Zanetti owns a Brazilian coffee grower and a commercial espresso machine maker. The company operates nine roasting plants and also franchises its brand to espresso bars worldwide. At home, Segafredo Zanetti historically didn't compete with the neighborhood bars it supplied, instead limiting its brand to retail coffee blends for home users. However, as part of a push to expand, the company has opened espresso bars in Italy. Massimo Zanetti leads the company his grandfather started.
