If Digeo has its way with digital entertainment, you may never want to leave your living room. The company's Moxi Media Center set-top boxes enable cable companies to provide their subscribers with a host of entertainment options, including digital video recording, high-definition programs, digital photo and music management, games, and interactive news feeds. The product can also connect to a user's PC and be integrated with cable phone service. Digeo sells to cable operators and directly to consumers. It also licenses its intellectual property. Customers include Charter Communications. Previously backed by Paul Allen's Vulcan fund, Digeo was sold in 2009 to ARRIS for about $20 million in cash.
