Vizrt adds a dose of high-tech visual art to its clients' media content. A provider of 3-D graphics and virtual studio products, Vizrt delivers digital media content to broadcast and interactive TV, the Internet, and wireless handheld devices. Products include applications to help digital artists create complex animation or to deliver 3-D maps for news broadcasts. Broadcasters (such as CNN, ESPN, and BBC) use Vizrt for digital and high-definition content delivery. Webcasters (Yahoo!) and corporations (NYSE and Morgan Stanley) use Vizrt's technology for corporate communications broadcasting. It serves nearly 300 customers in more than 50 countries. In 2005 Vizrt acquired UK-based mapmaker Curious Software.
