EarthWalk Communications makes wireless computing systems (sold under the SmartCart and FlexCart brands) which are designed to provide easy-to-use, portable computer networks for educational and corporate settings. EarthWalk's other systems include notebook PCs (EcoBuddy and Classmate), mobile storage carts and battery chargers, and wireless network access devices. The company also provides educational software, servers, monitors, projectors, and other peripherals and accessories. Its products are sold directly in the US, as well as through international distributors in Africa, Central America, the Carribbean, Europe, and the Middle East. EarthWalk was founded in 1997 by CEO and chairman Evan McConnell.
