Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, the prescription pharmaceuticals arm of health care manufacturer Wyeth, makes pharmaceutical and biotechnology products to treat cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and infectious diseases, as well as cancer, women's health conditions, bleeding disorders, and depression. The company's best selling products include antidepressant Effexor, arthritis treatment Enbrel, acid reflux drug Protonix, and childhood vaccine Prevnar. Wyeth Pharmaceuticals also makes a line of nutritional infant formulas. Parent company Wyeth, which also makes consumer and animal health products, has agreed to be acquired by Pfizer.
