Lilly ICOS is looking to deliver a knockout punch to Pfizer's little blue pill. The company's only product is Cialis, a long-lasting treatment for erectile dysfunction. The drug can work up to 36 hours, allowing the patient to be more spontaneous (as opposed to competitors Viagra and Levitra, which work for approximately four hours). In the increasingly soft market for erectile dysfunction drugs (due to an aging target market and decreased novelty), Cialis is the only player on the market with firm sales growth. The company is a joint venture between pharmaceuticals giant Eli Lilly & Company and its biotech subsidiary ICOS
