Skanska USA Civil builds some of the world's largest cable-stayed bridges. The US-based arm of Swedish engineering and construction giant Skanska AB focuses on civil engineering construction and infrastructure projects along the East coast, as well as operations dotting Colorado, and California. Skanska USA Civil represents about 8% of Skanska AB's construction revenues. It builds roads, tunnels, and rail systems in addition to bridges and industrial and marine facilities such as power and water filtration plants, gas-treatment plants, and drydocks. Projects have included the Meadowlands Football Stadium, New York's AirTrain light-rail system, and Boston's Central Artery.
