With roots going back to the founding of McKinsey & Company in 1926, A.T. Kearney has established a place for itself in the management consulting pantheon. Today's A.T. Kearney operates from offices in about 35 countries around the world. It offers consulting in a variety of areas, including growth strategies, IT strategies, and supply chain management. Clients have come from a wide range of industries, including automotive, financial services, health care, and utilities. A.T. Kearney is owned by its management team. The consulting firm took its current name in 1946 from that of Andrew T. Kearney, one of McKinsey's first partners.
