NexMed wants you to rub it in. The drug development company uses its NexACT technology to deliver drugs through the skin; it is developing topical formulations with improved absorption rates, using already-proven drug ingredients. One of the company's products is a treatment for erectile dysfunction, Vitaros, that is sold internationally; Warner Chilcott is developing the drug for commercialization in the US. NexMed is also working on a topical product called Femprox that treats female sexual arousal disorder, and it has licensed a topical nail fungus treatment to Novartis.
