Adventureland is indeed a land within itself. The 180-acre family resort boasts an amusement park with more than 100 attractions (Adventureland Park), an inn (Adventureland Inn), and a full-service campground (Adventureland Campground). Rides range from roller coasters to kiddie-sized fun and shows include live music, magic, and musicals. The Adventureland Inn features a tropical themed pool and free shuttle service to and from the amusement park. Adventureland Campground offers its own pool along with RV and tent camping spots. The company opened a new water area, Adventure Island, in 2008. Former CEO John Krantz founded Adventureland in 1974. Krantz died in 2006.
