ProSiebenSat.1 Media is the #2 television broadcasting company in Europe (behind Bertelsmann's RTL Group) with about 30 commercial TV stations serving audiences in a dozen countries. Its flagship stations Sat.1 and ProSieben operate in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, while in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden its operations include Kanal 5, TV Norge, and The Voice. The company also operates such pay-TV channels as ProSiebenSat.1 WetterTV, as well as more than 20 European radio networks. ProSiebenSat.1 Media is controlled by private equity firms Permira and Kolberg Kravis Roberts.
