The IT services and consulting arm of International Business Machines operates in about 170 countries, providing a comprehensive range of services to commercial and public sector clients. IBM's service operations are organized into two primary units: Global Technology Services (GTS) encompasses IBM's business process outsourcing, infrastructure support, and product maintenance offerings; Global Business Services (GBS) handles application management services, consulting, and systems integration. IBM Global Services integrates both IBM products and third-party hardware and software.
