London Scottish also offers secured lending, salary advancing, home-collected credit, and check cashing. Consumer credit income accounts for nearly half of revenues. The bank has traditionally marketed its services to working-class clients underserved by larger lending institutions. It markets its products through 100 branches and one call center. Subsidiary Robinson Way specializes in debt collecting services for home shopping, finance, and utility companies (about 30% of revenues). Facing a capital shortfall, London Scottish Bank went into administration in late 2008.
