The US might have SeaWorld but the UK takes it deeper, and scarier. UK tourists are swimming with sharks (or regular fish, for the less daring) at Deep Sea Leisure's aquariums. Licensed divers also participate in several dive programs offered by the company, which operates Scottish aquarium Deep Sea World, as well as Britain's Blue Planet aquarium. Deep Sea Leisure has seen its fortunes rise since it added the "swimming with sharks" attraction to its offerings; it has also added pirate attractions to capitalize on the worldwide pirate phenomenon and draw more visitors. Spanish amusement park firm Aspro Group owns Deep Sea Leisure.
