BTOpenworld provides Internet access to residential and small businesses customers in the UK; the company also serves some customers in Europe. In addition to broadband (BT Broadband) Internet connections, the company offers computer telephony plans (BT Calls) and digital television programming (BT Vision). It also still offers entry-level dial-up Internet service through a partnership with Yahoo! BTOpenworld was created in 2000 in a reorganization by parent BT Group and operates as part of the BT Retail business unit.
