Grocery stockers to mechanics can't keep their hands off Graham Packaging. No cookie-cutter, the company designs, manufactures, and sells blow-molded plastic containers for a diversity of goods, including food and beverages, automotive lubricants, and household and personal care products. Blue chip customers Clorox, Danone, Heinz, and PepsiCo are supplied through Graham Packaging's 80-plus manufacturing plants, which dot the globe. About one-third of plant operations are set on site at customers' production facilities. Graham Packaging is controlled by Blackstone Group and affiliates' 81% stake; in November 2009 the container company filed an initial public offering.
